Hey dv9009, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Could you maybe try another browser other than the one you used and let us know if you're still not receiving the email to reset your account's password?
If that doesn't work, let us know here and we'll reach out via email to investigate further.

Wow, thanks, to my surprise this actually worked! I tried with MS Edge now (previously with Chrome), and now it works: both the email verification and also the resetting of the password. It even now also works in Chrome again.
Perhaps my account was incorrectly flagged as 'spam' or something. In any case, many thanks, this has solved my problem!
