Can you share what you mean by âcreate an index or guideâ? What kind of information would that guide contain? What would it look like? Trying to understand your need before I jump to suggesting solutions.

We have over 100 files in folders and subfolders for due diligence. There are a lot of people involved from different organizations (lawyers, bankers, accountants, etc.) so we need to keep an index of initial set of files available plus the tracking of added files or changes to any given folder or subfolder. Today thatÂŽs done manually and itÂŽs painful. I tried Zappier automations and even a software called KarenÂŽs files and didnÂŽt work at all. Hi
If I understand you correctly you are trying to create a list of all your files in excel.
Have you tried copying the Explorer Address bar (your file(s) location) and pasting it into chrome like you would a link? In my experience this not only lists everything in the folder as a index list, but it also hyperlinks the files as well.
For example:
My folder address is âC:\Users\KitiaroBloodbane\Desktop\Dropbox\LAVCâ and I paste this directly into Chrome. And it gives a indexed list, which I can then copy and paste it into excel which retains the hyperlinks of each file.
