Apps and Installations

I have a Basic Subscription as I am now retired. I have Dropbox on my surface pro and PC and until recently had the app on my iPhone and iPad but on trying to access the ap on my iPad I got a message saying I had too many devices connected and I would need to upgrade my subscription. I subsequently deleted the app from my iPhone which means I now only have the three devices connected. But I still can't sign in on my iPad as I am still getting the message about exceeding my plan's device limit?
Thanks for any assistance

Hi @mark_urq,
Take in mind that when you delete Dropbox application from any device, it doesn't mean that established connection on that device drops automatically. 🙂 Most probably that's what confuses you. Before delete/uninstall the application you need to unlink it. 😉 Something that seems you skipped.
You still can disconnect any connected application using device list here (the name is a bit confusing - not devices actually, but connections/links list). Take in mind to make a third connection, you need to have at most 2 existing (otherwise the new one gonna become fourth and that's why rejected).
Hope this helps.
Hi @mark_urq
Have you also deleted the old iPad connection? If you are reinstalling its possible its trying to set a new connection up rather than using the old one already there.

Thank you so much for your assistance. I found all the connected devices and deleted some very old ones and got back to only one device so now I can connect my app on my iPad again.
