Apps and Installations

Hello,
I currently have a 2TB plan.
I typically install Dropbox on my E: drive because I've always kept everything I can separate from my C Drive for restoration and if something goes wrong. That might change but for now, esp. since my C: is an SSD, that's how it is.
This Dropbox needs to be synced between 3 different PCs as quickly as reasonably possible. So far, it's perfect.
Thing is, I have my. Music libraries on a separate drive M:, and also my recordings H:
I am thinking of adding 1TB to my plan (why can't I just add 2??? Lol), and with that plan I think there are some additional features.
But I am thinking of backup.
With my M and H drives I don't need to access them immediately. But my E drive I kinda do.
Would it be better to put H and M on a backup situation and E keep it as normal? Or since they are all Non-C would it be safer/better for all to be on backup?
And this is all under the same storage limit?
Thanks!
Hi there @Jason M.50, thanks for posting on our Community!
When you say that you install Dropbox on your E drive, I assume you mean you've kept or moved your Dropbox Folder there since the app can only be installed on your primary drive - correct me if I'm wrong please.
Since you don't need immediate access to your M and H drives all the time, you could use the Dropbox Backup feature to back them up to your Dropbox account.
As for your E drive, it would depend on your needs, but you could either back it up to Dropbox as well or move your Dropbox folder and have it sync from there as you did in the past.
I hope this helps and please let us know if you have any follow up questions.
