1 year ago- ssjandres1 year agoExplorer | Level 3I never got an email from you. I checked the spam folder too. Can you please resend? I’ve tried all the options I’ve found, and it’s still no working.

Hey @ssjandres, I just checked and it seems the email was successfully sent to your Community-linked email address, however it is now closed by the system.
Would you mind trying to contact our Support directly on your end, and sending over your ticket number reference?
Also @FLSunshine, would you mind trying to do it using a different browser, please?
Also, do you notice the same behavior if you try to quit the app, and then browse through your Dropbox folder while the app is closed?

Great job @FLSunshine, thanks for that!
Have you also tried the second suggestion from my previous reply about quitting the app? If so, what were the results?

Hey @FLSunshine, just to confirm, does the issue persist, while the Dropbox app is closed?
That would mean that the issue is not actually Dropbox related.
Can you also use these steps here, to remove/unsync some folders from your Dropbox folder, to see if that makes any difference?

Let me try this and then do a sample for one day of work, then report back.

Is this with the app running or completely closed @FLSunshine?

Hey sorry not a solution but just wanted to chime in that this is happening on my Windows 11 Laptop as well.... happens when I click on the root folder but if I navigate to the subfolders under Dropbox, I'm good.
I thought I was the only one but wow...

Hey @Noelinho, could you clarify if this happens with the Dropbox desktop app completely closed as well?
Also, do you happen to have any 3rd party apps that might be syncing, backing up or somehow monitoring your files on the affected computer?
If you could also let us know the app's version as shown in your task bar as well, I'd appreciate it.

I'm so F furious right now!
I'm sick sick sick and tired of this sh*t.
My ssd died with dropbox on it (on pc).
So installed a new SSD, copied my Dropbox folder on my mac to the PC.
Without even relinking or starting dropbox on PC, I cannot browse the dropbox folder without it freezing! WTF is going on? Every directory i want to enter freezes the pc for 1 minute!!
And this is without dropbox even running on pc!

Switch to OneDrive. Dropbox support will have you emailing for weeks without a solution.

OneDrive sux, Google Drive sux.
Dropbox works best with clients and is a good standard.
But this support is BAD!! wtf.
