Dropbox menu bar icon keeps moving to the left after shutdown

The Dropbox icon on my Mac suddenly started moving from its original position in my menu bar all the way to the left (as I like to customize the order of the icons for efficiency... )

I move it back using the CMD key to re-order the menu bar icons, but every time I shut down or restart, it moves back to the end of the line of icons...

After Shutdown/Restart: (moves to the left???)

Can someone please help me out?

Before you ask, I have fully updated all the apps and the software

Device: MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015)

OS: macOS Monterey 12.7

Hey @jblfv31, thanks for reaching out to our Community.

If I'm honest, this is not something that's controlled by the Dropbox app.

Have you reached out to Apple to discuss this?

Let us know what you find.

Hey @billearl, sorry to hear about this.

Did you get the chance to look into this with Apple?

No. It's an old Mac with an old OS. I did search thoroughly though, and looked for workarounds using AppleScript, to no avail. I'll just leave the Dropbox icon on the left.
