Hello,

I just bought an Acer laptop and I am eligible for a 25GB Dropbox storage space. However, I cannot login my account, it shows that I entered invalid user information. I tried to unsync other devices but to no avail.

Are you certain the email address and password you're entering are correct? Are you able to sign in on the Dropbox website using the same credentials?

Yes, I am certain with my entered information. I've been using the same account from another device and it works perfectly fine.

Did you by any chance redeem such a promotion before? 

 

Could you also let us know if the desktop app was pre-loaded on your device?

No, I have not redeemed any promotion from Dropbox before and the desktop app is not pre-loaded on my laptop.

Could it be that your device may not be eligible for the promotion due to some country and retailer exclusions?

 

In that case, you may want to create a new account and redeem the space in question.

Hello,

I have just also purchased a new Acer laptop and when registering and setting up I got the same promotion from Dropbox.

I filled out the information for my existing account but DID NOT get the extra storage!

Please help as I can really use it
