We started a Dropbox Business trial from an account that owned several shared folders. We deleted all the Team members who were sharing those folders except for the account that started the trial. They continued to have access to the folders they had shared before the trial. Now we have cancelled the trial. The account that started the trial has ownership of those folders but no one else is sharing them. There seem to be two sets of folders. Do I have to reshare all the "new" folders with all the people who shared them before or is there a simpler way to establish ownership and sharing of those original folders?
Hey @baip, thanks for using Dropbox and happy Friday!
This sounds expected if you disbanded the team and I'm afraid you'll need to share these folders anew.
I wish I had a better answer for you.

I understand that the owner of the disbanded team receives copies of the team folders and that those sharing the folders that became the team folders still have shared access to them. I'm one of those sharing the original folders. Why don't I see an owner of those folders? Doesn't every folder have an owner?
Can you send me a screenshot of where you're seeing this @baip?

I have a screenshot. How can I send it to you?
Hey @baip, if the owner of the folder was a member who's left the team or the folder, the folder won't have an owner.
If you want, you can create a brand new folder and copy the contents of this folder to the new one, so that you can re-share it with the people that need access and you can be the owner.
