Getting an error every time I try to open a shared link.

Someone shared a folder with me before but every time that person shares a link from that folder, I get an error message even though that particular file can be found within that shared folder. Why is that? How can I access that link?

What's the error message? Are you sure they're creating a shared link and not just copying the link from the address bar of their browser (that won't work)?

You are right! That person is only copying and pasting from his browser. Thank you so much. I'm new to Dropbox so I didn't know this.
