Have a switch in Settings to allow Sync on Dropbox mobile app

My Android phone (Google Pixel 7) has Dropbox installed and when I take a photo it automatically uploads to Dropbox (I have a personal Dropbox Plus account). I normally take lots of photos and then delete the ones I don't need/want using my phone. This deletes the photo on the phone but does not delete it in Dropbox. Similarly, if I delete it in Dropbox it doesn't delete the photo on my phone. So currently I have to go through and delete them twice - once on the phone and again in Dropbox.

It would be great if there was a switch in Settings which would allow the syncing of deletions between the phone and Dropbox so they are always the same, just like it does between my PC and Dropbox.

Thanks for posting on the Community, @lewiskei

I’ve already passed this along to our team for you, as feedback.

What I may suggest in the meantime, is to disable camera uploads on your mobile app, whenever you don’t feel like you need to use it, and turn it back on when you wish to upload specific photos again (you’ll need to select the “New photos only” setting, when re-enabling the feature).

Hope this helps a bit.
