I did this (kind of) mess:
Computer A has a free account and this folder structure:
C:\
Dropbox\
Projects_on_A\
Project_1\
Computer B has free account and this folder structure:
C:\
Dropbox\
Projects_on_B\
On Computer A, I right clicked the folder C:\Dropbox\Projects_on_A\Project_1\ and select Share/edit access and shared it.
When computer B accepts the share, a folder pops up on PC B at C:\Dropbox\, i.e. in the Dropbox root folder. The icon has the shared folder overlay.
All good so far.
Now, on Computer B, I drag and drop the shared folder from C:\Dropbox\ to C:\Dropbox\Projects_on_B\. I receive at this point an error: "Project_1" no more shared and - oh My - the folder has disappeared on Computer A.
What is going on???
Thanks for the info, currently, you can't drag a shared folder into another shared folder, as it would make it a private folder within the parent shared folder (so, 1 becomes private for a second, and then becomes part of the shared folder B).

Hi @ace4, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Is the Projects_on_B folder already a shared folder, or is it a private folder?
This will help me to assist further!

Thank you for your fast reply. Yes, I've been less sharp then required in documenting my case, the folder Projects_on_B was shared to A creating - now that you point me to it, a potential loop.
