- 8 years agoHi Vic, if you just upgraded, quit and reopen the Dropbox desktop application for the option to appear. If that doesnât work, reboot the Mac.This will make sure that the context menu has been installed.Let me know if that works!

Good morning, I am having the same issue, I have reload the dropbox application using the methods described on your help section however I am still unable to see the smart sync option when I click on a folder.
Any help would be appreciated.

7 years agoHey KMH8,
Can you let me know the current sync status and version of the desktop app that you are running currently?
Also, can you clarify for me if youâre not able to see the âSmart syncâ option at all when right clicking a folder or do you see this option but no sub menu showing âLocal/Online onlyâ? If you could provide a screenshot of this (excluding any personal info) it would help me to understand the issue youâre describing better.
Let me know what you find - Thanks!
