iPad mdwriter app created multiple file copies when Dropbox was offline
I was working offline in mdwriter (simple markdown editor) on Dropbox files while in airplane mode. I went back into normal mode when inside a corporate network wifi where apparently Dropbox is block...
The only way to get out of this:
- log out of dropbox
- mdwriter complains that you have to log in again
- log in to Dropbox (app)
- mdwriter still complains about having to log in
- reboot
- everything works
…but some edits are lost. I think that the initial edit after being online is saved, but subsequent edits are not I switch filed a lot to work on different .md documents at once.
P.S. Also, you might want to switch to local icons. Using the forums from an apple device is not easy with remote fonts being blocked for tracking reasons…
