Can you allow for more app choices for the "Open With" in your iPadOS. Right now Adobe Acrobat Reader is the only option for pdf and it is unsuitable for my needs. (And it is hard to open DB files within other iPad apps because these apps have no search access to DB.)
Hi @adamny, thanks for posting here today!
Have you tried using Files App since you're using an iPad? That way you could open your content from there.
Alternatively, you can open your .pdf from the third party app, and navigate to the Files App in order to locate your Dropbox content.
Let me know if you have any questions!

I can't search DB in the Files app. I can't even search the current DB directory. I can browse DB and navigate to a desired file through my DB folder structure. However, I have a lot of files and often don't remember their location.
Hi @adamny, have you tried enabling Dropbox as a Location on your Files app?

Yes, I have have access to browsing DB but not searching it. The first screenshot from my "Files app" shows my "a-test-file" in DB. The 2nd shows that allegedly I have no files starting with "a" in my DB.
Hey @adamny, sorry to jump in here, but could you let us know your device's exact OS version?
Also, have you tried clearing the app's cache at all since you first noticed this?

iPadOS 16.5
I don't think iPadOS allows for cache clearing for neither DB nor Files app (unlike Android os).
But are you suggesting that you are able to search your DB acct through the Files app on your ipad?
I was never able to.
To bring this issue home: we can't do much about Files functionality, but my initial post was to request the ability of the DB app to open pdf files in more than just Acrobat Adobe Reader.
Hi @adamny, I'll definitely forward your feedback to the appropriate areas so we can continue to improve.
If you'd like to look more into the search issue, I can open a ticket on my end for you, just let me know.

Sure, a ticket about search issue on Files app (concerning DB files) that would be great -- if DB can do something about it.
Hi @adamny, I just sent you an email, I'll see you there!
