Delete, edit, and organize

Greetings.
The issue.
Any MS Word document that I create in a shared Dropbox folder or add to the folder cannot be edited in Word Online without getting the following error message:
Couldn't save latest changes. To avoid losing the highlighted changes, copy and paste them into the document in a new tab.
The message is in a yellow banner at the top of the document.
Specs.
I'm running Firefox Developer Edition 114.0b9 (64-bit) under Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye) x86_64. I have a free "Basic" Dropbox account, and a free Microsoft account (no 365 license).
Things I've tried.
A quick search on the internet shows that many people are complaining about the very same issue to Microsoft, although Microsoft staff argue that this is a Dropbox-related problem, and don't suggest any working fixes. I say this in all due respect to both Microsoft and Dropbox staff and community, and am not accusing anyone for the problems I am experiencing.
It is noteworthy that this error does not occur when creating or adding an MS Word file to an unshared Dropbox folder.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. God bless.
Hey @GG26, thanks for the detailed report and sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Could you try clearing your browser's cache or try another browser or an incognito window without plugins or extensions running and let us know if you get the same results?
If you do, I'd appreciate a screenshot of the error, so that we can have a visual too.
Thanks!
Walter

Greetings, Mr Walter. I appreciate you taking the time to help out.
I disabled all my web extensions, as recommended, and suddenly the document was successfully editable, without even the need to clear cookies and site data. I then tested with various different web extensions enabled, and ended up finding out that Privacy Badger by EFF was causing the problem. In the end, toggling the "Disable for this site" option within Privacy Badger fixed the issue, without having to completely deactivate the extension.
Thank you for pointing that out and saving my time. Everything works just as expected now.
May God bless you, and Mary protect you.
Glad to hear you managed to sort this out in the end and thanks for keeping me in the loop too @GG26
See you around the Community and have a lovely weekend ahead!
