Hello guys,
i wanted to delete a big shared folder. I am not the owner of the folder and i would like to delete it my clicking on the three dots where the options are, but they‘re not there.
Maybe someone can also tell me how to add a screenshot to this post as i can‘t see that option right now.

Okay, so the option you're seeing is to permanently remove your access to the shared folder. It's not actually added onto your account.

If you choose this option, it'll no longer appear there, and in order to access it again, you'll need to be invited to the folder.

Hi @Ana0203, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

When you make a screenshot, it should be in your clipboard, so you can just paste it in your next reply.

Regarding the shared folder, are you able to leave the folder from this page?

This will help me to assist further!

Somehow i still cant paste the screenshot in.

But if i open the link you sent me, the three dots dont appear at the folder i want to delete.
There are three dots underneath tho, and it says „delete me“. But this doesnt seem to be connected to the folder

I see! Thank you so much.

I still get the notification that my storage is full, even tho the other folders are like 1 GB and not 2 GB. Do i have to keep deleting old data from the folder i've just deleted? Or do i have to wait a bit for it to synchronize again?

You can check the breakdown of your quota from this page. Removing shared folders would immediately free up the quota.

Aside from shared folders, you could also have a Dropbox Backup enabled, which also takes up quota on your account.
