Files deleted after not logging in

Dropbox emptied my account of all files because I had not logged in for too long of a time.  I requested they restore my files, but to no avail.  Now there are 2 files that show up from the ones emptied which indicates to me it can indeed be done.  How can I get the rest of those files restored?

You cant - Dropbox deletes accounts after 12 months of inactivity. They are permanently removed from its servers.

However, files MAY appear locally if that hasnt sync'd to Dropbox, or, it was a share which is reopened.

Hey @rosita1, sorry to hear about this.

Were the files deleted, or was the account itself deleted and you were prompted to create a new one?

Did you receive an email that your account would be disabled due to inactivity?
