Highlight color on comments

Highlight color on comments

I'm compiling comments from users on a 48-page document. I can not find a way to make the comment color anything other than VERY pale yellow. (One commenter said "this space looks too tight" and must have highlighted that SINGLE space, but there is absolutely no way I can find to pinpoint where.) When I click on a comment, it directs me to the correct page, but not an exact spot on that page. Is there a solution to this?

Hi @ksperrydesign, let's see what we can do about this!

Can you please send me a screenshot of how the comments appear for you, while making sure you hide any personal or sensitive info?

Also, can you login to your account from a different web browser, to see if you have any different behavior?

Keep me posted!

Was there a solution to changing the annotation highlight colour? The pale yellow is hard to see on some files.

I've been avoiding using Dropbox for comments, but now it looks like I'm going to be stuck with DB as a solution for an upcoming project. Here is an example of the pale yellow highlight used for comments. It's okay on this white background, but a tan or yellow background makes the highlight invisible, and I can't see any other way that DB points to the area in question. Any help greatly appreciated.

I also tried logging in from Chrome... no change.

Hey, thanks for the nudge here!

I'm afraid that the highlight color is something that cannot be changed at the moment, however, we appreciate the feedback on this.

I will make sure that your comments are passed along to our devs team.

You are also welcome to post an idea about this on our idea board

Sería un interesante poder resaltar con colores la preferencia de las carpetas o la que está con tarea pendiente o similar, algo parecido a lo que hace Apple

Please find a way of change the pale yellow colour. Its so hard to see small changes.

Why don't you use your brand blue?

Hi @nerdhousedesign, how are you today?

Hm, a brand blue doesn't sound like a bad idea. 🤔Do you have any other color suggestions too?

In any case, I'll forward your feedback to the appropriate areas so we can continue to improve.

Have a nice Wednesday ahead!

Any bright colour would be great!

Basically pale colours are super hard to spot on small changes in a text heavy document.
