Hello,

Are you sure you are signed into the correct account? When do you think this deletion occured? If the files were recently deleted, you should be able to see the files here: https://www.dropbox.com/deleted_files . You can also click "Show deleted files" in any folder on the Dropbox website, and recently deleted files/folders will show up slightly greyed out. From there you can restore them.

Yes this is my account. And I deleted it permanently from the trash on the website. But I thought it would only deleted from the dropbox but not from my computer as well.

is there something I can do ?

Do you have a backup of your computer? If so, you might need to use that to restore the file. Deleting the file from the Dropbox website is the same as deleting it on your computer, and unfortunately, permanently deleting the file does mean Dropbox no longer has a copy of it.

One long-shot thing you can try is to check the .dropbox.cache hidden folder that sits in the main Dropbox folder on your computer. You might need to enable viewing hidden files/folders on your computer to see the folder. You can use the instructions here to access the folder.
