aborted upload, now file missing but DB full

aborted upload, now file missing but DB full

Some weeks ago I started uploading a file from an external harddrive to my DB, which turned out to be too big. DB offered me to buy more space with a free 7 day trial, which I decided to try out. The file however took so long to upload that I in the end aborted it and decided not to pay for the subscription after the free trial. Now DB keeps telling me I've run out of space, but I haven't been able to find the partially uploaded file anywhere to be able to delete it. I have only very few files in my DB, so I didn't overlook it. I'm also not part of any group that uploads much so that someone else could have taken up my space. How do I find that file and free up my space? I've already closed DB and restarted the laptop many times, that doesn't help.

Hi there @Neriah, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

Can you please take a look at your account's homepage and your backups page and let us know what you find?

If you can find the missing file, you could also try the events page as this is the place where all uploads, edits, and deletions are normally logged.

Keep us posted anyhow!

Hi Walter,

Thanks very much for making me use the internet version of DB instead of the app. Apparently I don't get half the options in it that the web version offers... But perhaps that's just my phone 🙂 I found the file in the backups and managed to get rid of it. Thanks for replying and have a good day!
