Can't install Avast because of Dropbox?

A while back i tries to install an AVAST program, a person from Avast remotley tried to install the software with out luck. Reason was dropbox would not let it install

I just wanted to check back with you and ask if you were able to install the third party app in question eventually?

If not, could you send us a screenshot of any error messages that you got while trying to install it?

Thank you for your reply. I have not tried to install the software again. The following is what I received after trying to install it.

C:\Users|chris|Dropbox|MyPC(Chris-Greenhill)\Downloads|AntiTrack install file(2).zip

Hi @christopher6, sorry to jump in here, but it looks like you enabled the computer backup feature. 

Can you take a look at this Help Center article and let us know if that's the case?

Towards the bottom of the page there are instructions on how to disable it too, if needed that is.

As @Walter, mentioned above, you can find the steps on how to disable the Computer Backup feature here

Sorry, it has taken so long to reply. I could not find how to stop the backup. What I did and it seems to have improved the running of my computer.  I uninstalled Dropbox and then reinstalled it.
