I can't edit using Microsoft Word

I am not able to edit my document in Microsoft word through dropbox . From 3-4 days it showings than you have only 5 attempts left to edit and the last one I used today but now I’m not able to edit.

How to edit ?? (All I’m doing in ipad pro)

Hi @Sa56, thanks for posting on the Community!

Are you definitely opening the Word files directly from the Dropbox app, and not from the Word app first?

Could you attach a screenshot showing the message you're getting on your device?

This will help me to assist further!

Are you currently signed into a Microsoft account in the Word app, even without an Office 365 subscription?

Could you try uninstalling the Word app, rebooting the device, and then re-installing it to see if this helps?

Done.. reinstalling 

but not work 

Can you please help me as early as possible beacuse this process is very time consuming ?

Is this occurring for any Word file on your account? Is the file you're trying to edit in a shared folder?

Have you tried creating a new Word file via the Dropbox app and attempt to edit it on the Word app?
