What is the best way to keep track of tasks in Paper?

Hello, my colleague and I use timeline to keep track of tasks. It happens every day that the timeline disappears. I go to history and restore, but the restored version is much older so lots of things that were on are gone for good. How should I use Paper best to keep track of taks? Thank you.

Hey there @dianaalbu,
So, another way you can keep track of tasks that require deadlines would be to create a “To-do” list or add to-do points scattered within your Paper doc. You can add a to-do point in your Paper doc by clicking the checkbox icon in the menu:

In each point, you can assign the “to-do” to someone so they see it in their "To-do list" as well as add a date for when this needs completing (shown below).

To see your “To-do list", you can click the checkbox icon in the top right corner of your web page when you’re located anywhere within the Paper tab on the website (even within Paper docs). From here, you can then sort your to-do list by date which will essentially act as your timeline.
Top hint: If you click on a to-do task in your list, you will be redirected to it's location in the Paper doc where the task is listed!
