Dropbox on Android and KeepassDX leads to database overwrite with empty file

I have a .kdbx file in my dropbox that I use on Android with KeepassDX. Every now and then, the file is overwritten by a 0B empty file. I first suspected a bug in KeepassDX (reported here), but it seems to be a problem with Dropbox.
