What does the api.dropboxapi.con/2/passwords/list_folders URL mean & why was I re-directed there?
I noticed my machine aggressively went to a url - api.dropboxapi.con/2/passwords/list_folders through chrome browser. I have chrome extension of “Dropbox password”, need to ensure it is legit. Please advise thanks

Hi Boy-t, welcome to our Community!
You mentioned your device was re-directed in that URL, however can you clarify how that happen?
Did you simply open your browser, and were redirected there? If you close the tab, does it happen again?
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!
- Boy-t3 years agoExplorer | Level 3It is not redirecting and I do not see anything. But background was like probing the mentioned url aggressively, and I sees that in wireshark/tcp view. I did installed Dropbox password extension in chrome and it lately. I would like to ensure if this is known Dropbox event. So far it probes for Dropboxapi.com (sample IP 162.125.21.3, 162.125.8.19) and dropbox.com (sample IP 13.226.184.82, 162.125.6.20)
