Cannot receive the authentication code for log-in

Cannot receive the authentication code for log-in

Good Day,
We cannot log-in the Dropbox account of my wife because we cannot receive the authentication code.
I made this Dropbox account for my wife to upload our files from flash drive, she doesn't know yet about this (I would not like to disturb her work that time). When I told here the next day, we tried to open it but there’s a problem: I did not create a real Google account first to receive authentication code.
Please remove the authentication code of Dropbox account of my wife. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
Jomar

Hi @17Andrea

It almost certainly possible to remove it. You need to get access to the email to get the code I'm afraid. Otherwise you have no proof that you own the account.

See https://help.dropbox.com/account-access/lost-email-access for info.

Sir Mark,

I have 3 proof that account is to my wife:
1 photo of the things I uploaded with her Dropbox email address.
Her Dropbox email address and Google email address is similar.
Government ID for verification.

You can try contacting Support, but that often doesn't matter. Access to the email address is often the only thing they'll accept as proof of ownership.

To contact Support, visit the Support page while you're NOT signed in to a Dropbox account, including these forums, and you'll see an option for sign in issues. It's best to use an Incognito or Private browsing session to make sure you're not signed in.
