On the desktop Dropbox icon situated on the toolbar (Mac OS 14.3) a red symbol with a white exclamation mark has appeared along with the icon and I’ve no idea what it means. I’ve looked through my files on DB but cannot see any anomalies. Irritating. Read somewhere there may be a conflict with a file or files.
It’s a bit someone shouting “hey, there’s a problem”… yes, OK, but what’s the problem?
Anyway, anyone got an idea how to shift this icon?
Thanks
Thanks for the screenshot, @T-squared!
I can see a "not now" option in the yellow notification there; can you click it and let us know if it helps?

Hey there @T-squared - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Just to make sure we're on the same page, could you send us a screenshot of the symbol you mentioned so that we can have a look too?
Thanks!

Hi Walter
Many thanks for your resonse.
Now the icon is enlarged I can see it's not an exclamation mark, it's a figure "1".
But here's a screen shot of the issue,
Cheers
TonyT
The figure "1" has now changed to a figure "2" even more puzzled now 😞
Thanks for the screenshot @T-squared
Have you tried clicking on the "not now/ show me how/ maybe later" option on the top banner of the app window when you click the app's icon to check your notifications?

Sorry, walter, I can't see ther "not now/ show me how/ maybe later" options you mention anywhere.
I've checked the Notifications and there are currently none. DB tells me it's "up to date"
Thanks again,
TonyT
Hey @T-squared, would you mind clicking on the Dropbox icon once again and then sending me a screenshot of the window that pops up?
