I am having no end of trouble trying to figure out the best way to coordinate between different email addresses. I have clients who add me to their dropbox using my current work email, that is not connecting to my personal login. I know of the "link" option, but when I go to it in my settings I get a 404 error. Then, I have a third dropbox connected with my former work--the employer removed all sensitive files but I still need to have access to items that other people shared with me via that email address, and I am authorized to access the account. I use dropbox for everything and had migrated my desktop to the cloud, but now when I changed jobs everything is broken. Is there any way to not have to be constantly logging in and out of multiple accounts--especially when I have it set to auto-sync my desktop with all current-working files, it gets very confused when I have to switch accounts. Help!
The simplest way to do it is to create shared folders to the main account you want to keep: www.dropbox.com/share ![]()

Good morning all. I just started a new job and when I try to log in to their dropbox, I am always rerouted to my personal one which is at capacity. I need to be able to access spreadsheets on my work dropbox. Is anyone familiar with this issue?
Unless the account you are accessing is a paid for business account you can only have 1 Dropbox account on a device at a time. If it is you can link them together ![]()
So, if it isnt, you either need to remove your personal one or just use the website to access your work one.

I have my own Dropbox for my design business, but a client wants me to work on their files directly in THEIR Dropbox. I'd like to do so through my Mac's Finder, but I can't figure out how to get the client's Dropbox folder to appear in Finder in addition to my own Dropbox folder. Is it possible to have 2 (or more) Dropbox folders appear in Finder?

You can only have two Dropbox accounts appear on your computer if one of those accounts is a Business account, and you then link the accounts together. Otherwise it's not possible to sync two accounts at the same time.
Thanks much Rich.
I succeeded in linking - there was one final hoop to jump through involving cutting and pasting a Dropbox generated code to allow the linking of the accounts. I appreciate your help!
I have a personal account and I would like to synch our company account to my Dropbox desktop for backup purposes. is it possible?
Hi @DTPM, how are you today?
I merged your post under this thread, since others had expressed the same inquiry, and I want to keep everything at the same place.
At the moment, you can have one Business account and one individual linked to your Dropbox app, as Hannah mentioned here.
All you'd need to do is pair the accounts together.
I hope this helps!

Hi @DTPM,
I hope you are well today. I see you have asked about linking a personal Dropbox account with a company's Dropbox account. Provided the company's account you are linking to is on a Dropbox Business plan, linking your personal account is a pretty simple process and can be done by following the link my colleague has previously shared with you. I just wanted to follow up with you today to see if you had managed to get your account linked, or if you were still in need of some assistance?
Thanks again, and have a great day!
Graham
