Storage Space
Looking for help with managing the storage space in your Dropbox account? Talk to the Dropbox Community and get advice from members.
I have a Dropbox premium account with 2tb of storage on my windows 10 computer. I'm trying to upload files using the desktop folder but it won't let me upload more than 50gb, says i require more space. On the website I can upload more files but they upload at an extremely slow pace (whereas on the desktop app they upload quickly, i have fast internet). On the desktop app preferences and websites it says the accurate amount of storage (50gb/2tb) but i cant upload any more files.
I do not have backups enabled.
Hey @mikepulcinella, thanks for joining our Community!
Is the error you're getting referring to Dropbox space or hard drive space perhaps?
Can you send us a screenshot of the error, so we can check this out?
Thanks!

Thanks for the screenshot, Mike.
It looks like it might be referring to disk space indeed.
Can you check if you have enough hard drive space to add these files?
