Hi Guys,

My local Windows Dropbox is fully synced with my online Dropbox.  Windows Explorer file/properties shows my Dropbox folder is 576 MB but to my surprise, dropbox.com and dropbox app both say my dropbox is full. I have checked the plan tab and found my regular file size is 3.4 GB which is not correct. My shared folder only takes less than 100 MB. What is going on here? Why the discrepancy? Any inputs?

Thanks,

Tao

Thanks for giving that a go, @EvgF!

Can you also check https://www.dropbox.com/backups/PC and let me know what you see there?

If that doesn’t seem to help either, please let me know and we can log a ticket for you instead, to further check your Dropbox account.

My dropbox storage seems to be 2GB and is full.

The name of the storage is "PC" and the status is "unlinked".

Does that mean it is only a copy of 2GB of data from my PC, and is it safe to delete it on Dropbox ?

Thanks,

Subba V

HI @SubbaV, this means you can delete it from the site, as it isn't linked. This would free up the space on your account.

Jay,

I have deleted it per your advice. (after doing a full backup to an external drive and also finding that I have alternate cloud backup).

Thanks again,

SubbaV

Dropbox says my storage space is full but I've deleted almost everything from it and it stil won't sync, and I can't find a sync option or button, so I kindly ask for help with this issue.

Check your Backups page.

It says that since I've reached the limit it won't sync again, but I've already deleted everything and still won't sync or make a back up...

Hey @IMPORTADORA ROBLE, let's jump right into this!

Can you clarify if you have any Backups enabled at the moment, as Rich suggested? Also, what do you see when you access your account's plan page?

Keep me posted!
