Mysterious Files Filling Up My Space?

Mysterious Files Filling Up My Space?

I have Dropbox Basic with 3.25 GBs of space.  I've been having trouble with Dropbox saying my space is all used up when it isn't )as has been been addressed in these forums by others), so I deleted everything in Dropbox.  I then "permanently deleted" everything, and I checked to make sure there is nothing in the Deleted folder, nothing in Shared, and nothing in Back-up.  I have checked my Dropbox online account, as well as Dropbox on my iPhone and on the computer.  There is nothing in my Dropbox at all.  Yet when I look at my account Dropbox is telling me that I have 1.5 GB of "regular files" and 1.7 GB of "unused space".  What are those 1.5 GB of "regular files" and how do I get rid of them?

Hi @JSB-NJ, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Generally, this would indicate a computer backup on your account.

Could you try this direct link to see if it finds a backup on your account?

This will help me to assist further!

Thank you for responding Jay.  The link in your message leads me to an Error (404) page.  However, the Backups page in my account shows nothing in it.  See here:

Thanks for the info, in order to look into this matter in more detail, would it be possible to reach out to the email associated with your forum profile?
