Can't open file
Hi Dropbox Community,
I am getting a weird message whenever I try to open the Excel file thru the Dropbox App on my Android ... It says
*Can't open file
We couldn't apply organizational policies due to Intune error*
Would you please help me on this?
Regards,
Haseeb

I hope you both are doing well.
I contacted Microsoft Community about the said problem. They also don't have any clue about this.
So, I took a leap of faith and deleted all the Microsoft Apps from my android device and re-installed them later.
Surprisingly, it works and I am able to edit the files in my DropBox thru the android app. 🙌🏻😊
I am sharing this here for the whole community.
Thanks & Regards,
Haseeb

Hi HaseebMIT, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Is your mobile owned by a company or managed by one?
Is this for any Excel file on your device?
This will help me to assist further! - HaseebMIT4 years agoHelpful | Level 6
No Jay!
It's my personal mobile and the file is in my Dropbox, owned by myself ...It's happening with all the Excel files ...

After some brief research, this appears to be an error related to connecting to Microsoft Intune. You can try uninstalling and reinstalling Excel to see if this helps. - HaseebMIT4 years agoHelpful | Level 6
Uninstalling didn't help 😢

Sorry for jumping in here HaseebMIT.
It looks like you might need to contact Microsoft directly, to see if there are any tips they can give you on their end.
Do let us know what happens, though, it would be really helpful, in case someone else comes across this issue.
Thanks! - HaseebMIT4 years agoHelpful | Level 6Yeah sure ... I'll let you know if got something from the other end ...
Thanks for your time 🙂
