I am trying to verify my email address but each time I click on the link in the email I get "Error 500". I have tried waiting, refreshing, using different browsers ... restarting browsers. I am all out of ideas!
Hello Walter,
Yes I was invited to the folder with the same email address as I am logged in under. I get a slightly different message "unable to complete your request" when using my mac. I will contact the sender and ask if they have modified anything. Thank you for all your help!
Hey there @brevardhope - sorry to hear that; are you still getting this?

I am still getting the same error
Sorry to hear that @brevardhope - could you try from another device maybe or another network?
Also, have you tried an incognito or private browsing window and/or clearing your browser's cache?
Note that when you request to verify your email address, you should receive an email from no-reply@dropbox.com with the steps to verify your account.
If you don't receive an email after a reasonable amount of time, please check your spam folder to ensure that no-reply@dropbox.com is not blocked. You can also add no-reply@dropbox.com to your address book and request another email verification email.
Let me know if you're still having issues with this and we'll take it from there.
Thank you in advance and have a good day!

Thank you Walter. I used my phone and was able to verify my address. Now I am clicking on a link in an email with a photo some one shared with me. When I do it from my phone, it brings me to the app and says "SoAndSo gave you access to edit this folder." "Add to dropbox". When I click on "Add to dropbox" it says you no longer have access to this folder. The folder is 18MB so I should have enough space for this. Ideas??
Were you invited to this shared folder to the email address you use for your Dropbox account @brevardhope? Have you asked the person who originally shared this folder with you if they deleted it or unshared it (by accident maybe?)?
Also, do you get the same result if you try it on a computer?

No worries @brevardhope - just keep me in the loop if you don't mind!
Until we speak again, have a wonderful day and thanks for using Dropbox.
