Make my Dropbox folder hidden, so people can't see the content.

My Files show on my computers File Exployer and anyone that opens my computer can then read my files in Dropbox

How do I Make my DropBox Folders so that they can not be seen on my computer if someone opens my computer.

SO THAT THEY ARE ALL ON LINE ONLY and not be seen in file exployer

  • Hi PIDY8869 & gobbler, I hope you're doing well!

There's not an immediate way for you to hide your Dropbox folder, or as gobbler said to put a password to the folder. You could use different users, and put a password to the device's users. However, what you can use as an alternative, would be our selective sync feature

That way you can remove folders off of your device (so that they're not visible there), and still keep them synced only on the web.

If you have any questions, let me know!

Hi, I have DB linked on several machines with the DB icon on the all the screens. Hence, anybody can access my files. How can I secure DB on every machine? I have other programs in the cloud on multiple machines, operated by several people, that require individual ID's and passwords.
