Hello, I use to be able to download my folders by right clicking and choosing the download option or choosing the download file option when the folder is open. I no longer am given the option to download. The only options I am getting is to share, open, delete, rename, etc. I prefer to download the folders and not copy or move out of dropbox. Why did it change and what can I do?Solved27KViews0likes13CommentsCan I download all of the files from a folder that was shared with me?
I need to download all files from a folder someone shared with me, but instructions I've found online mention hovering over files and clicking a checkmark, which is not appearing. I've also seen reference to downloading all as a ZIP file, but this option doesn't appear either. The only option seems to be clicking each file to open it and download it from there, but there are too many files to download each separately. Is there any other way to achieve this download?Solved26KViews0likes7CommentsI shared a folder and they can't download it

Since yesterday anything I try to upload/download Dropbox says will take 2+ days. Granted, it's taking a REALLY long time on everything, but while claims it's moving files at 0.0 kl/sec, according to my network monitor I'm seeing fluctuating rates as high as 13mb/sec. What gives?Solved8.2KViews1like20CommentsUnable to download files from shared link; always shows "incorrect email or password"
Hi Friend. My client share a link and I want to download the shared files. But after I enter the password on the download file page, it always shows that the password is wrong. Even if I confirm the password is correct. Btw, When I click "create an account" and "forgotten your password?" nothing happens. The file is about 40MB I try to reset the password. It doesn't work. Looking forward to your earlier reply. Thank you.6.6KViews0likes8CommentsShared link expired - how can I download the files?
Hi guys. About 8 years ago I did some acting for a film student based in Wellington. I was sent finished projects to my email via Dropbox. Recently I tried to access the works but I can't and displays a message saying link no longer works. I would desperately like to retrieve them. Unfortunately I have long since lost touch with the student involved. Any help would be so so appreciated. Thanks for taking time to read this 🙂☘️Solved6.6KViews0likes3Commentsif someone shares a folder with you and you save it to your Dropbox, can they delete that folder fro
Hi, Someone shared a Dropbox folder with me, and I saved it to my Dropbox. However, now, when I want to go to the files in it, it's nowhere to be found in my Dropbox. I have a piece of software, where I can link to files I have, so I can see the exact path of where I saved these, and it's file://users/[myname]/Dropbox/etc. When I went back to the email where they'd shared the file and clicked on it, it told me that folder no longer existed. I would prefer not to go back to this person because I'm a journalist and it's a source who was quite forthcoming with me but has since seen his fortunes change, and so I feel he probably intentionally deleted the folder, or if not, that at least now, he would not be inclined to help me anymore. To add one more wrinkle to this, he had actually saved some documents specifically for me, and so they were in their own folder in the Dropbox, and when I got home, I realized Dropbox had not saved the folder but instead all the files he had set aside were mixed in with everything else. So I had to get his assistant to re-send the selected docs. Somehow, I still have those selected docs that the assistant had to re-share with me later on, which I had also downloaded to my Dropbox, but not the bigger set. Did I just not save the bigger folder correctly or ... I'm so confused. If anyone can shed light on what might have happened and if there's any way to recover the larger folder of files, I would appreciate it! Hello , i intent to use a shared link on a mobile app , the content is only around 5kb , but i dont have an idea about how many times exactly the link will be fetched by users (programmatically) (100k to 500k users, 1 time per session ) , up to the documentaion ,on our plan the limit is 400 giga bandwith and unlimited donwloads daily , which will fit our requierments . But after a lookup on forums here i found this answer made by one DropBox experts says : "Its 400gb / 100,000 connections in a rolling 24 hour period for shared links" what really means the 100,000 connections ?? original Post : https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/View-download-and-export/WHAT-IS-THE-LIMIT-FOR-DOWNLOADS-IF-I-CHOOSE-PROFESSIONAL-PLAN/td-p/5249474.8KViews0likes10Comments
