Can we have a Dropbox Family plan? We're not interested in a Dropbox team.
I would like to see Dropbox offer a "family" or "home" level for one price. This would be same options as "professional" with say 5TB storage but sharable between house hold family members. Say husband/wife etc. Not interested in 3 users at $15/user/month. That is just out of scope for individual families. Something more basic to securely share information.
I can't connect to live support, even though I'm on a paid plan.
Is everyone in Customer Service dead?! I PAY for Dropbox and I've been waiting 2 days now for a reply on "Live" Chat support. What is this? There's no phone number. What kind of paid service is this? This is a genuine Idea - Please ACTUALLY reply on Live Chat. I keep refreshing/ restarting computer/ logging out and in again/ using different browsers... this is all I get - forever.
Should I have a personal or Business account?
I own my business and use Dropbox Business. It's great and more secure than personal, which I have loads of data on. Is there any reason I should have both? I can't think of any. Seems like I should just migrate everything to DB Biz. Am I missing something?
I'm trying to upgrade but it says my account is already using the Plus plan.
I've been using the dropbox basic plan for years, but decided to upgrade to the Plus plan. I got an error when trying to upgrade, but it shows my account plan as Plus. It's saying that I'm out of storage at 12 GB. I can't go in and reupgrade right now, as it shows my plan already at Plus. Help!
How can I access the Black Friday Deal for 3 months free Dropbox Plus?
When I visited my Dropbox account on Sunday, I saw a pop-up that showed I could get 3 months of Dropbox Plus for free if I subscribe to a plan, as part of a Black Friday promotion. The pop-up showed that the promotion lasts until December 2. However when I visited Dropbox today, I didn't see the pop-up anymore. How do I access the Black Friday deal now?
How to stop the upgrade notifications on my Dropbox online?
I've had the Dropbox Plus plan for over 10 years and have been more or less happy with the service. My account is about ⅓ full at any given time. Most of the time I use the desktop app (Mac OS 15.6.1, dropbox v.237.4.5655) which syncs my files across 3 devices and between several apps. I don't sync all files to the desktop obviously, so sometimes I have to log in to the web version to see all files. Dropbox bombards me with requests to upgrade to business level and work with "my team". not just once or twice, but EVERY TIME I log in. That and the giant green button at the top a different color from everything else on the page constantly begging me to upgrade... aaaarrrrrghhhhh. Is the desktop site intended to drive away non-corporate customers? I've done lots of projects with other people and the whole point of using Dropbox was the ease of passing files between all our different freelance accounts. It's out-of-proportion annoying. I have scoured all the notification and account settings and found nothing. Please how can I stop it? thanks!
Will I lose my promotional space when upgrading my account?
I’m currently on a free plan with 22.38 GB of space. Recently, I was offered the 50 GB Basic Extra plan for 23.88 EUR per year. My question is: if I purchase this plan, will I lose the promotional space I already have on my free account and be left with only 50 GB, or will the 50 GB be added on top of my existing 22.38 GB? When I clicked through to purchase, I saw information suggesting that I would receive only 50 GB, which makes me think I might lose my current extra space. Can someone confirm how this works?
