Hello. Every time I attempt to add new people to a shared folder, it wonât let me and tells me the files might contain phishing content, and the link to view the files isnât working either. I need this fixed ASAP. Thank you.20Views0likes1CommentView shared photos as a gallery
When I share a Dropbox link to a folder with photographs, the web link is not optimized for photo viewing on any platform (phone or desktop). The thumbnails are too small and compressed. And on a phone's web browser, users can swipe through individual photos, but it requires two separate taps, thereby quickly becoming cumbersome. I am suggesting the idea to have Dropbox photo folders appear as a dynamic, tiled gallery, much like on a dedicated iOS or Android app. Google Drive's photo gallery is a great example of how to implement such a feature on Dropbox.27Views0likes3CommentsMy files appear to be empty after editing
Hello, I'm on an ASUS Zenbook running Windows 11. I have a shared dropbox folder that constantly has files getting wiped/copied (when they get copied they are empty) showing up on the dropbox. It always shows me editing the file and its usually multiple at the exact same time. All the files have nothing in them and instead are blank. I know you can restore the file but its been happening for months and across multiple different shared folders and its honestly a headache to fix. Help appreciated, thanks in advance.57Views0likes4CommentsHow can I share files within a folder in a specific order?
Question or Issue I'm a pro photographer and I use dropbox to deliver photos to my clients. I number each photo (i.e. "Smith-1, Smith-2, Smith-3, etc...). Dropbox used to share them in order (lowest number to highest) now they share in reverse order (highest number to lowest). I want to change this back to the way it was but I'm having no luck figuring it out. Any help??Solved81Views0likes5CommentsComment without Login
I'm sharing photos and videos, as well as production documents with clients and love to get their feedback on the specific file. However, many companies prohibit employees from generating their own Dropbox account, which is needed to comment on the files. How about just having to "sign up" with their Name and Email in order to get notifications? Would love to have an easier way to share files with clients and get their feedback as simple as possible.95Views1like1CommentCannot remove sharing restriction from my Dropbox account.
I have received an email for the third time saying I have been banned from sharing for exceeding bandwidth limit. I had no idea such a restriction existed. I have a basic Dropbox account, but have built up a capacity of 13.2Gb owing to hardward deals I have bought in the past that has increased my allowance. I have used 8.31Gb of space, so loads of headroom. I only usually share a couple of folders with friends and this has worked continually quite happily for years. These folders are about 1.6Gb. For some reason I am now getting this ban for sharing. I have gone into Dropbox online and removed every old sharing link I can find; it has no effect. I cannot unban the account on the link, just get a message saying 'something's gone wrong. Contact support', which I can't do on the basic plan. Advice please on how to remove the ban and share within the allowance. Thanks!83Views0likes5CommentsPublic links have been temporarily suspended for generating excessive traffic.
I got an email saying This email is an automated notification from Dropbox letting you know that your Public links have been temporarily suspended for generating excessive traffic. Upgrade your Dropbox account today to increase the total amount of traffic your link and file requests can generate. For more information on suspended links, please visit the Help Center. Your current account bandwidth limit is 20.00 GB and your current usage is 21.19 GB. You may remove the suspension by clicking this link otherwise please visit the Help Center. I looked in my shared folder and I don't really have much in there. so I clicked on the link to remove the suspension and then three minutes later I got another email Your current account bandwidth limit is 26.00 GB and your current usage is 33.13 GB. how do I What links these are? I have a few shared folders but I'm not the owner of those folders my current usage is very small so I don't know where this bandwidth usage is measured or shown106Views0likes6Comments
