My friend invited me to share a 3gb folder she had. I accepted. Now I want to leave the folder and cant. I followed the advice from: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZoTpNkvPCI The problem is that no folders appear under 'Sharing' in my Dropbox so I cant remove myself. I also looked for other ways to leave the folder but see no option to remove myself. Any ideas on how? ThanksSolved66KViews4likes76CommentsHow to share a Dropbox File or Folder with a Short URL
I would like to make some files stored in my Dropbox, downloadable from a web page. For this reason, I would like to be able to create Short URL's for each file. I have read the following tutorial but it seems to be old: http://www.ampercent.com/link-to-dropbox-files-folders-short-url/6215/ Could you advise me please? How is it possible that I cannot view the message I sent along with the file that I shared with a team? I was just told by one team member that they never received the email that I shared and I just went to try and find it as proof but there is no where to find these emails. At the very least you should automatically copy the sender (via their account email) so that there is a record of this share in my emails.Solved1.6KViews3likes3CommentsIs there a way to collaborate on shared files in real time to avoid conflicted copies?
I share my dropbox files with other users for work. I my co-worker has a document open and changes the file at the same time I have it open it creates another copy of that file. Can I upgrade where if we are both accessing the file it will automatically update?4.1KViews3likes5CommentsI get the message that my files might contain phishing content
I am trying to share a file and get the message "We’ve interrupted your sharing activity because your files might contain phishing content" Relevant Facts: 1) File does not contain phishing content. 2) I haven't used dropbox for about a year, so I'm not over any limits. 3) File is legal content, legally obtained. 4) File is 22 MB. No customer support except for paid subscriptions. So I guess this is why I don't use dropbox.....23KViews2likes183Comments"check your internet connection and try again" When trying to share a file?
Trying to share a file, but when I enter some email addresses I get the following messages ""check your internet connection and try again". Other email addresses works 100%. Working on a Macbook Pro.39KViews2likes54CommentsPeople asked to create account when viewing my files
If I send a link to one of my folders and the person via the link is taken to the opening page, they find they are confronted with a banner asking them to creat an account. One can clic outside of the banner and it disappears and they have access to the files. But a few people found the banner intimidating and figured they had to create an account and abandoned their attempt to view the files. Is there a way to turn this marketing off?Solved268Views1like9Comments
