Hello Community Ive been with DROP BOX for over 15 years. Ive reached my limit and cannot stomach the owners of DB anymore. Fleecing small business is not admirable. Creating confusing menus to generate more revenue aimed at small business owners who cannot manage these complicated systems. I initially signed up for DB as a storage tool but realized you cannot rely on DB for storage as files are constantly lose however ive been able to use the the platform as collaborations tool. However the platform has become a cess pool of dishonest practices. I pay thousands of dollars per year you would think i could have access to support? You want me to explain to you all these error messages. The platform is purposely deceptive in order to upsell. These practices are making people like Drew Houston more money and are contributing to working class peoples misery. I have a small business im paying enterprise rates yet i dont have access to support (which i bought the add on). I cant add a team member to a folder says im not the owner but i am the owner i cannot contact support despite paying $3k per year. This platform is awful. accessing new shared files was easy by opening the email link. Now the admin person has to send a code as well for access. I have added a file to a directory however when trying to download the folder as a zip the file is not there If I try to create dropbox link just to that file I get this message The file is Newtonsoft.Json.dll from microsoft .net SDK Scanning the file with windows defender found no threats. I've suddenly found that files I've previously been able to share are no longer working. The error message was simply "Couldn't complete share" with no further details or anything helpful. As a test I uploaded a new text file and tried to share that. This time I got a different message: "Can’t share file: We’ve interrupted your sharing activity because your files might contain phishing content." I have no idea which file or files might be the issue, so I've deleted some old files that are no longer current (those are still in the "Deleted files") and left just the files I need to share. Hi all, I have a Dropbox Plus license. For a project I work together with two other people, none of which have a Dropbox account. I know I can share files/folders by using a link or give them permission to open a specific file/folder in my Dropbox account. But is it possible for them to change a file/folder and upload it again to my account? When they do will Dropbox still sync the changes they made with my i-Phone and i-Pad? What are the limitations when we use the folder in my account in order to work together, even if two colleagues do not have a Dropbox account? When I try to share any file I get an error "We've interrupted your sharing activity. For details or to contact support read our help center article". I read the article and I can't find any files that could violate the terms. I don't understand what is the reason for the blocking. I created a simple test .txt file with the word test in it and I can't share it. I am in the process of retiring and part of that requires me to move folders that I own and share from my Dropbox to the Dropbox of my employee. I have downloaded instructions on how to move files between two Dropbox accounts and the moving component went relatively smoothly. Both myself and my employer were logged in to our individual subscriptions online. My employer created a new folder on his Dropbox account, copied the shared files from the shared folder into the new folder, and the files disappeared from my shared folder in my Dropbox account - all good. My employer now wants to share relevant folders with his new employee but is unable to do so as he received a messaged advising he is not the owner?
