Dropbox deleted files from a shared link
Hello everybody! I had a bunch of photos and videos on this account (aprox. 200). The photos were probably about 3-4 years old, and i would occasionally access them. Today when i wanted to see them again, the photos were gone. The only things left on my account are the pdfs, word files and archives. I still have some links of some of the photos, form a conversation where i shared them, but when i try to access them, i get the message that the file was deleted. -the files are not in the deleted files folder -i have no other account, where i could've saved the files -i am 100% sure i didn't accidentally deleted them -no other person has access to my account -i am not logged in on the mobile app Any ideas on how my files were deleted, or any suggestion on how to recover them would be appreciated. My Excel updates are missing and, after sharing a link, it redirects users to the wrong folder.
24hrs ago i was working on my excel sheet which i saved. I created a new folder also and moved some documents in the folder. 24hrs later. i go on another of my devices and those new documents and last version of my excel sheet is nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, my dropbox icon shows i am up to date!! The worst that happened an hour ago, i created a link to a new folder that had documents to share to a group and the group members instead are having access to another folder totally not related! Everything is looking like its a film trick going on! Kindly inform if there is an ongoing issue?

Why are the words "Simplify your Life" being added to my Dropbox links
Just as the subject implies. I right click on a folder or file, choose "Copy Dropbox link" and when I paste it into a forum, it looks OK, but when I submit the post, it has my link with the words "Simplify your Life" added to the link. Other users of the forum find this suspicious and are often reluctant to click on these links. How can I prevent this rude, spammy behaviour?

Blank Screen Sharing Link
Hey everyone! Having troubling sharing link with someone (Anyone with a link). Whenever someone clicks the link, the page appear blank white. The link won't load at all, just a white screen. I've deleted the link and recreated it. Still won't show up. Also, not just this specific link. It's all of the links. Any tips?

Deleted account but pictures still available through shared links
Hi. Hi there, I had my pictures uploaded to the dropbox site by my photographer. Unfortunately my photographer has stated he has deleted his Dropbox account. However my pictures are still readily available for anybody to access. I would like to withdraw all permissions for my photos to be stored on these dropbox link. Can anyone advise me on how to Proceed please?

Replace files without breaking the shared link on desktop application for Mac
Hello, I have used Dropbox for years to share PDFs on my website. I work on a mac and use the Dropbox desktop application. Previously, when I wanted to replace a PDF under the same name in Dropbox, I just had to save the new PDF by selecting the file I wanted to replace within the Dropbox folder on my Mac. I would click REPLACE and it automatically updated the PDF under the same name without affecting the shared link. Recently, I noticed this is no longer the case. It now deletes the original file and replaces it with a new file under the same name. This breaks the link. Fortunately, you can replace a file under the same name without affecting the link directly in Dropbox via a browser. This is not as slick, so I hope you bring back this functionality to the desktop app for mac. Thank you! Molly

Restore erased pictures from a shared link.
Hello I am searching a superman I did à shooting photos with my prégnant wife 5 month ago. The photographer put all the photo on dropbox and send us a link to acess But all the photos are delete today and we did not dowload it The photographer had delete all the photos on her computer and on dropbox Is it possible to restore photos ? How do I unshare a file or folder with a non member
Greetings - I am using Dropbox Business Standard. I have several files shared with various people. Is there a way to delete links and/or sharing with one non-member? I am not sure where all of the shares are located?

RAW=1 link no longer working for videos in Chrome
Hi, For MP4 videos, when I share links, I change the dl=0 at the end of the link to raw=1. This no longer seems to work in Google Chrome as of the past few days. Was there something changed on your end to cause this issue? Others I share links with have the same issues, so it is not specific to my device. .
