Way to stop Dropbox disallow people from requesting to join our team?
Is there a way to not give people the option to join our team? Every time I send a file to someone outside of my dropbox team (which is almost daily) they must get some kind of additional email telling them they can request to join our team, because I usually get a follow up email with random people who got the file asking to be part of my company's team. A user's personal account was deleted via business plan
Hi, now I am trying business plan trial now. Yesterday I invited a user to my team and he joined without creating new personal account. Then I tried to remove his account from the team just to release buisiness plan license, so I removed his account on team management console. As a result, his account itself was completely deleted! Q1. Do I have any way to restore his account? Q2. I need more info about what the buisiness account is. I coulnd't notice the risk to merge personal account to buisiness account. When a users receives invite to team, he was asked wheter create "personal account" or not. If he chose to create "personal account", was his account protected completely? Q3. Can't access main Admin account for Dropbox as email no longer exists
Hi -Our main admin left the company. We had access to her dropbox but the freelance IT guy came in, changed our emails from Fasthosts to another provider and cancelled the Fasthost plans, so that email no longer exists and cant be reinstalled. We now have no access to the admin of this Dropbox account and the IT guy has full access as it looks like he's stored the passwords for when he was accessing stuff through Teamviewer - but we need that to stop immediately as other things have gone on We can access the other account linked but they don't have admin permissions, and so our IT guy has full control of this account and not us?! Is the admin of a team account able to access the contents of all folders?
Hi, I am the bookkeeper of a business. We would like to upgrade Dropbox to Standard and make it more secure. We think the manager should be the admin and a user, and I should be a user. At present, Dropbox and all its folders are accessible to anyone who can access the computer. We would like that to remain the case for some folders, but other folders should be password protected. I have shared one folder with our accountant, which I use to upload information which should remain confidential from the manager. Kein verschieben der Hauptordner mehr möglich
Hallo liebe Community, ich habe Dropbox Busines und wollte in meiner Dropbox aufrÀumen. Dazu wollte ich alte Ordner verschieben. Der Button zum Verschieben ist nicht mehr sichtbar. Die Unterordner kann ich verschieben. Ich habe nun einen Test Ordner erstellt. Auch den kann ich nicht verschieben. Ich bin Admin. Hat einer eine Idee warum das auf einmal nicht mehr geht? I received an email that my team is locked - how can I save my files?
Hello , this morning I received this email from you ( screenshot below ) and that my team will be blocked etc , I'm not aware that I'm starting a team , rather I don't remember because I've been using DropBox for 10 months and I have the Basic plan or the free one . My point is that I don't want to lose my files because there are folders of my minecraft modpack via Technic Launcher , and most importantly dropbox suits me and it's the only one that works :d .
