I had a Basic Dropbox account while I was working (retired last year). I just noticed a charge for $119.88 on my credit card. Not sure how this all works but what, since no one discussed it, it is now dead? How are people supposed to know about it? You are missing a good opportunity to retire rich here!! Doesn't anyone understand the implications of a successful plan to do what my idea described. A Live Stream Link onto drop box that viewers could watch a live production. AND, have a payment plan that we could sell the stream to viewers. DropBox through a payment plan could also then pay the copyright fees to the music license holder so we no longer get flags and muted for having live music on our production!22Views0likes1CommentI need to add more space to my personal Dropbox account, without upgrading to a team.
I have the largest account available to an individual and have added the one time storage to my account. I have a large family and have a lot of photos and videos that I want to store. However, I'm almost out of space (nearly 4TB) and need more. When I tried to upgrade, my only option for more storage than 4TB is to upgrade to a business account for three users at an increase of an additional $225/year. I have a received an email saying that my account will be renewed and charged 163.67$ on February 11, 2026. Once connected, my account is the Dropbox Basic which is free. I also have no bill to Pay that shows. Since the account was created for work and we don't want to use it anymore, I wish to delete it. Can I do it or should I terminate the forfait first? Dropbox Plan (Plus) Payment Method (switching from Apple to Dropbox- will be Paypal on Dropbox) How did you upgrade? (did not upgrade) I saw on another chat that people were having issues with switching their billing from Apple to Dropbox and I tried to reply to that thread but replies have been turned off so I'll try it here. I am having the exact same problem, I need my Dropbox subscription for work so I am not able to have it lapse for really more than a day. It is currently set to expire on January 28th 2026. Can I get the process started to get the billing switched over to Dropbox? I am switching mine because somehow I am getting double billed from Apple with one renewing on the 16th of each month and one renewing on the 28th. I'm hoping that if I get billed from Dropbox directly this can get resolved.
