I made an account yesterday (with the basic free account) and downloaded the desktop app. One problem is that no icon appears on my desktop. If I need to open the app, I have to press the Windows key and type the name in. The major problem is that I can't sign into the desktop app. It would open my default browser (Edge) for me to sign in and then that page would change to "Successfully logged in. Open Dropbox" but then the app would give an error "Previous sign in interrupted. Please try again." immediately after. I've uninstalled the app, reinstalled it, restarted my laptop, cleared my browser's data, but still get the same error. I'm able to sign in on my other browser (Firefox) and mobile browser (Chrome app) without any issues. It's just the windows desktop app.4Views0likes0CommentsMultiple Dropbox & Google Drive accounts in Finder — is there a simple way?
I have personal and work accounts for both Dropbox and Google Drive and want to see them as folders in Finder without running separate desktop apps or syncing everything to my Mac; I don’t really know the usual tricks, so I’m looking for a straightforward approach that keeps things accessible in Finder, survives sleep and brief connection drops, and doesn’t need a lot of fiddling—any simple tips or common pitfalls to watch out for?49Views0likes3CommentsUnable to uninstall Dropbox on Windows 11

In safe mode, deleted all Dropbox files except DropboxE64.88.0.dll. Error=action can't be completed because the file is open in Windows Explorer. Ran sfc/scannow. No errors. Ran Revo installer. Lots of messages about deleting registry. But DropboxE64.88.0.dll still there & gave same error when I tried to delete. It seems like DropboxE64.88.0.dll likes my PC so much that it doesn't want to leave!!!60Views0likes3CommentsDropbox desktop app on my Windows is stuck. "Reconnecting to the internet.
