Hey everyone, I've got 2tb of Dropbox Plus storage and I'm backing up an external SSD. Up until I surpassed 1tb used, I was able to choose the option to "backup every 15 minutes". Yesterday, after downloading a big music sample library and surpassing 1tb, I lost that option and now the most frequent one I can pick is "once a day". Is this normal? Why wouldn't I be able to backup every 15 minutes just because I'm using a certain amount of storage on my acccount? I'm on Mac OS Ventura 13.7.7, 2019 MacBook Pro 16inch. Question or Issue I am trying to change where the dropbox app looks for my files. I had to reset my Win 11 OS and reinstall the DropBox app, so it now points to c:\dropbox, instead of e:\dropbox where my files are actually located. Changing the folder in the desktop app fails because it says there is already stuff in e:\dropbox. There used to be a place in the web page settings that worked to change this, but I cannot find it now.84Views0likes1CommentCan I stop seeing notifications every time a backup file becomes online-only?
Device Windows 11 & Ubuntu Dropbox App Version (if using the app) 231.4.5770 (Windows and Ubuntu) Question or Issue I am using Dropbox on Windows and Ubuntu. I am unable to select "Available offline" as the "Default sync state for new files" within the desktop application Preferences. I do have the ability through the "right click" menu to "Make available offline" or "Make available online-only" This was working in previous versions. I only noticed recently because someone shared a folder with me and it was not immediately available offline. Hi, I have some files (like logs) that I constantly write to from another PC. Every time they update, I get the âfile changedâ popups all the time. Iâd like to hide these notifications for certain files only, but keep them for all other files. Is there a way to exclude specific files from triggering the popups? Thanks.138Views0likes4CommentsThere's a red 'X' icon on two folders in File Explorer on two Windows devices
Weâre experiencing an issue with Dropbox on two company laptops where certain folders specifically SCAI Team Dropbox and a subfolder labeled Paul are showing a red 'X' icon in File Explorer. Here are the key details: 1. The red X icon appears on both folders, indicating a sync or access error. 2. These folders are part of a shared Dropbox Team environment. 3. The issue persists on two separate Windows laptops. 4. The users have confirmed they are signed into Dropbox with their respective accounts and that Dropbox is running. 5. We've reviewed local sync settings and permissions, and everything appears to be correctly configured. Weâve attempted basic troubleshooting such as: 1. Checking internet connectivity 2. Verifying Dropbox sync status from the desktop client 3. Reviewing selective sync settings 4. Confirming folder visibility within the Dropbox web interface However, the red X icons remain, and the folders do not appear to be syncing properly. Could you please help us identify the root cause of the issue or suggest any advanced troubleshooting steps? -Ray136Views0likes4CommentsHow can I link two Dropbox accounts to my desktop app and use selective sync for both?

I have been having issues with my dropbox syncing across devices - I think there is an issue in my selective sync. However, everytime I attempt to open the dropbox desktop application on my mac, it only opens the finder folder. I have no options to go to dropbox setting or preferences from there.200Views0likes5Comments
