Can I stop seeing notifications every time a backup file becomes online-only?
Device
Windows 11 & Ubuntu
Dropbox App Version (if using the app)
231.4.5770 (Windows and Ubuntu)
Question or Issue
I am using Dropbox on Windows and Ubuntu. On Ubuntu I am using the DejuaDup backup utility which is syncing to Dropbox.
The issue is I am getting endless notifications like the one pictured:
I'd like to opt not to have these notifactions, my notifiction settings are as follows:
I don't need the Ubuntu backup on my Windows machine but certainly don't need the notifications all the time about it, does anyone have any ideas how to stop it, or where I can put a feature request in for a new notification toggle?

Hi there sherrattsp - thanks for letting us know about this.
Can you please clarify if you get these notifications if you completely close or quit the backup utility you mentioned?
Also, am I correct to assume that you're getting on the Windows end and not on Ubuntu? Do you normally see both devices listed in your account's security page?
Let us know more and we'll take it from there.
PS: For feature requests, you can always post in our ideas area following these tips.

Hello,
I did stop getting them yes, however it will initiate a backup every two days which I think might mean they re occur.
And your assumption is correct, no notifications on Ubuntu and I see both devices listed.
Cheers,
Sam

Hi from me as well, Sam! From what I can see on your first screenshot, there’s a button with 3 dots above the “Sync status” message.
Can you please click on it and let me know the options you see there?
