Device: Kindle Fire Max 11 Operating system on computer (Mac Mini): Mac OS 26.2 I was always able to download pdfs into SongBook Pro, moving them from my Mac to Dropbox, then using my Dropbox on the Kindle I would export them to SongBook Pro. It would show up on the mac's Dropbox but not the Kindle's Dropbox, plus I could not delete files on my Kindle's Dropbox. So I uninstalled the Dropbox on the Kindle, reinstalled it but now cannot sign into Dropbox. Instead I get a message, "Can't connect to Dropbox. Make sure you're online, or try again later". Tried it again with ""HAVING TROUBLE SIGNING IN", I get the same message. Yet everything else still works on my Kindle, easily accessing the internet (as you can see, I'm contacting you). The Kindle is new, (one month old). The older one was the same kind (Fire Max 11). DROPBOX TRANSFER59Views0likes2CommentsMake Dropbox compatible with Linux ARM processors
When I searched for this, I found this suggested several months ago for the purpose of Raspberry Pis. That suggestion was closed for inactivity. I had been using Dropbox in my Linux virtual machines on Mac with Intel processors for quite a long time. I just got my first Mac machine with Apple Silicon and was so disappointed this didn't work in the Linux VM on the ARM64. I depend on ability to share between the Virtual Machine and other devices connected to Dropbox for several of my workflows, and currently must use the Dropbox website to download, make my change, delete the online copy, then upload it again while in the Linux Virtual Machine. And hey, it sounds like adding this would help the Raspberry Pi folks too!56Views3likes2CommentsWhy can't I upload files in the background on the iOS Dropbox mobile app?

My family member and I are trying to share a Dropbox folder for caregiving. The family member has a paid account, and I have a free account. Is there no way for me to upload files to our shared folders without upgrading my account to paid? Anytime I try to upload a file, I get an error message telling me that have surpassed my 2 GB storage limit with my free account.31Views0likes1CommentRetain folder structure when using Camera Uploads on mobile app
Backing up photos on mobile dumps them all into one 'Camera Uploads' folder. The expected behavior is that the photos uploaded will stay in their own folders. This should at the very least be a toggle option. Every other Dropbox Backup solution retains folders, so why are photos any different? You even select the folders to upload from when setting this up, so the functionality is a step away. Pretty jarring UX from an otherwise great service.196Views6likes4Comments
