I have dropbox plus account. My client does not have a dropbox account. Nor does he want one. How can he send me files that are 5gb and up? I'm always getting hit with the 2gb limit. I'm in video production and 2gb files are nothing. We work with files that range from 2gb to 50gb. We don't want to make our clients open accounts that they don't want. Thoughts? Thanks.Solved69Views0likes5CommentsI sent a "File Request" to a free account, but the person can't send me large files.
I have a 2TB Pro plan, and I'm sending a "File Request" to a friend which has a free account, but he still can't upload files larger than 2GB in that shared link. And even then, that goes against his free quota. What am I doing wrong? How can I have him upload larger than 2GB files at once against my quota, not his? Device: OnePlus 13 Operating System/Browser (if using the web): macOS 26.3.1 (a) (25D771280a) Dropbox App Version (if using the app): 244.4.6580 Syncing Status: Up to date Question or Issue I have the exact same issue as described here: The quality of some of my photos is affected when using camera uploads. | The Dropbox Community I recently got a new phone, the OnePlus 13, and I noticed that some of the images, when uploaded to my Mac with Dropbox, looks extremely blurry. I've been trying to figure out what is going on, but I have not been successful. But today I e-mailed an image to myself that looks sharp on the phone, but horrible after being uploaded with Dropbox, and noticed that the file from Dropbox is 1,3 MB and the one from the e-mail is 3 MB. Uploaded from Dropbox: From my e-mail: I also discovered that if I use Google Photo the quality when downloaded to my Mac is the same as on the OnePlus 13 (and also from e-mail). So I'm wondering about the same thing that wertupo asked in their post: "Is it possible that Dropbox is 'rushing' to snap the photo up to upload before the phone has had the time to process it? Hence the bad quality?"48Views0likes3CommentsHow to reset my camera uploads on iOS? Dropbox will only re-add newer photos.
Hi! I need to force the iOS app to re-upload all the photos in my Camera Roll/iCloud Photos. I set it up so it uploads everything, not just new photos, but it will only upload new items. I believe it recognizes older pics as "already uploaded" and I don't know how to reset this. I have already re-installed the app, deleted all files in the Dropbox's Camera upload folder, restarted the device. Still, Dropbox will only upload new files. Thanks in advance!137Views0likes6CommentsCamera Upload filtering & Album organisation.
I would really like to see some key features added to the camera uploads folder. For example, having separators by the year when photos were taken or the ability to filter by location (if available) would be very helpful. Also, a tab for albums would be a nice addition. I'm trying to shift away from using Google Photos for backup and instead rely on my Dropbox plan, since I have plenty of space. If Dropbox could enhance its camera upload backup system, it would be a game changer!356Views6likes6CommentsProblems uploading many files at once when using an Android.

Then the app reloads and shows my root Dropbox folder. expected behaviour: files uploading to my Dropbox folder more stats: over 1 terabyte free space. My files are not uploading through the (most recent) of the dropbox app for windows. I am now seeing that this is signficantly behind. I only found it when I tried to access some files through dropbox on my phone and couldn't. Then I found that whole folders are not listed on dropbox.com. I have tried clearing my browser cache, made sure I started and restarted the app, plus reinstalled it - twice. I don't have a VPN. My internet connection is 300 mbps, so that's not a problem. None of these files are huge. I am using less than a third of my dropbox capacity (3TB). What can I do?
