Some photos uploading with lesser file size and quality
Device: OnePlus 13 Operating System/Browser (if using the web): macOS 26.3.1 (a) (25D771280a) Dropbox App Version (if using the app): 244.4.6580 Syncing Status: Up to date Question or Issue I have the exact same issue as described here: The quality of some of my photos is affected when using camera uploads. | The Dropbox Community I recently got a new phone, the OnePlus 13, and I noticed that some of the images, when uploaded to my Mac with Dropbox, looks extremely blurry. I've been trying to figure out what is going on, but I have not been successful. But today I e-mailed an image to myself that looks sharp on the phone, but horrible after being uploaded with Dropbox, and noticed that the file from Dropbox is 1,3 MB and the one from the e-mail is 3 MB. Uploaded from Dropbox: From my e-mail: I also discovered that if I use Google Photo the quality when downloaded to my Mac is the same as on the OnePlus 13 (and also from e-mail). So I'm wondering about the same thing that wertupo asked in their post: "Is it possible that Dropbox is 'rushing' to snap the photo up to upload before the phone has had the time to process it? Hence the bad quality?"
Camera Upload filtering & Album organisation.
I would really like to see some key features added to the camera uploads folder. For example, having separators by the year when photos were taken or the ability to filter by location (if available) would be very helpful. Also, a tab for albums would be a nice addition. I'm trying to shift away from using Google Photos for backup and instead rely on my Dropbox plan, since I have plenty of space. If Dropbox could enhance its camera upload backup system, it would be a game changer!
