Re: I did not get the 25GB storage from the Asus promotion
I tried to redeem the 25GB promotion for my ASUS laptop.
I clicked "claim space" button underthe ASUS app. The button then showed "installing", but nothing was installed.
I do not have any dropbox installation in my laptop.
Could anyone advise?

I have tried again to redeem the promotion. It does not work.
It would try installing, but will fail eventually.

Hi. I also just bought a new ASUS and when I try to download drop box for the free 25G it just keep saying its downloading. I know it doesnt take 30 minutes to download or claim. Please help.

Hi Megan. No. Dropbox does not show up in my list of apps. I found it under the Asus promotions with my new laptop. It offers 25GB in dropbox and has me click the Get It Now button but nothing happens. The button doesn't even initially say "installing." When I went to close the MyAsus window it says that if I close it will stop dropbox from installing. So I waited about 30 minutes and it still didnt install. When I went to close out of MyAsus the button flashed "installing" but then went back to Get It Now.. and as I closed the window it said it had to stop the download in order to close window. I rebooted the laptop and tried again. This time it sat for 2 hours and still didnt complete an install. If I go to dropbox, I can download the app but I only get 2 GB and not the 25GB promotion.

After buying a new Asus laptop I linked my Dropbox account in Myasus software to get 500 gb of storage for 6 months. I signed in with my already existing Dropbox accoungt but I never got the 500GB. Dropbox is still installed and I didn't do anything else.
Is there a way to still redeem the promotion? What did I do wrong?

Was the app preinstalled on your device? Can you let me know where you received the notification that your device was eligible for this promotion?

Hi Megan,
Yes, the dropbox app was already installed on the laptop (I already had an account), but I don´t remember that preinstalled with the OS. I did notice the promotion because I was using Myasus app to update drivers in the laptop and saw the link of promotion in the main panel.
