I’ve previously synced my android phone to Dropbox and all my photos were uploaded, now on an iPhone I can no longer see most of the photos in this folder (Last synced 2014). The error message “.jpg files are supported but something went wrong” shows up when I click the thumbnail to view. I’ve tried on my laptop as well but nothing seems to be working.

6 years agoHey KGmarie, thanks for reaching out to us here!
Just to clarify, when you mentioned that you tried viewing the files on your laptop, was this via the website or locally downloaded files from the desktop app?
If you try and export the file on your phone to your device's storage, are you able to view the file correctly there? Can you try downloading a file from the web on your laptop?
Also, can you let me know if you see this for all your .jpg files? Can you let me know the size of these files?
Let me know what you find and we'll go from there!
- KGmarie6 years agoExplorer | Level 3Yes I tried downloading them from the website (Windows laptop - chrome; and iPhone - chrome/safari) + iPhone app and when trying to view it says it can’t view the file type.
Most of the images are around 1.8mb or more. Only around a dozen of a couple hundred are loading and viewing fine. All are jpgs.- Daphne6 years ago

Thanks for getting back to me here KGmarie!
Can you send me a screenshot of the error message that you're receiving when trying to view one of the files?
Also, would you mind if I reached out to the email linked with your profile so that I can look into this a bit better with you through our Support channel?
Keep me posted!

I'm having the same error message but I don't think the files are apple double files (._). I can download the files and view them that way, I'm just curious why I can't see the preview. Plus I'd like to give the recipient an explanation to why they can't see the image but they can download it.
It's happening in two .jpg files out of four in each folder. I'm assuming it has something to do with the size or the way it's been saved...any ideas, anyone?- Daphne6 years ago

Hey there AfterBuzz TV, thanks for reaching out to us here!
I've just moved your post here as it seems you're having the same issue as the OP described.
Just to cover some basic details, can you please check out Lusil's post here and let me know what you find for those questions?
Also, do you notice any difference when you try the following?
- Clearing your browser's cache
- Using an incognito/private browsing window
- Using another web browser
Let me know what you find!
