I have a solution! Basically go to files right click on your keypad then u should see a tab of options. Click the one that says “open with” click the option that says photos as it takes you there save the video on files you can also trim it so it’s easier and the once you save it, it lets you change the format for example if the file is in mp4 it lets you change the file to any supported file. So that you are able to see the download video. This happens because the video may not be supported in what ever app or program you’re trying to use to open it. Or In some cases, a choppy or laggy video could be caused by an error that occurred during the download process. For example, part of your MP4 movie or 4K film file might not have been downloaded correctly or could be corrupt. Re-downloading the videos might be a simple way to fix choppy videos on your device.

Yes Exactly!
Yes I did, it has an issue too. As long as it's online it works. However As soon as it's downloaded/cached as offline viewable it will put out an Black screen with "Error while loading File". And not play it at all.

Hey There, I'm having the exact same problem as @amik. I know this is a very old thread, but any chance I could get some help?
The preview is perfect in Dropbox, but is either choppy or doesn't work when downloaded. The files are all MP4 and 4gb up to 60gb. I've tried converting to .MOV but that doesn't do it. I've also tried reproducing with Windows Media Player (doesn't work at all / cites an encoding issue), Quicktime (works but super choppy), VLC (only plays the audio).
Any thoughts?

Hey ScottS1, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Do you currently have these files saved to your Dropbox account and accessing them from the website or are you accessing them from a Dropbox link someone sent you?
If they're saved to your Dropbox, instead of downloading them from the website, have you tried syncing them with the Dropbox desktop app?

Hello-
I am also experiencing this. I recently received a shared link to access my wedding videos. I downloaded them on my Mac laptop and moved them to a flash drive. When I played them on my Mac it was very slow and choppy with the sound being at normal speed. I also tried to download directly from the link on two other laptops and it said “it uses unsupported encodings” when attempting to play.
Best,
Ashley
