I tried a reinstall, and the internet was still dropping out afterwards. I also tried restoring windows to a previous version before the update to Windows 10, verison 1709. Yay windows...

Have installed dropbox again, over existing installation. No change.
No problem with download of at any speed or even LAN syncing, but as soon as I increase upload speed to over 50KB/s the ethernet connection and all internat and network connections are gone.

Sorry to jump in here, Middlebrook.
Which version of the Dropbox application do you have installed on your computer?
You can see that, if you hover over the Dropbox icon in your system tray with your mouse.
And while you're there, can you also check the sync status of the app?
